Exist.exe

Exist exe is a game currently being developed by Skyfeather Games(facebook) and for my internship I was given the opportunity to intern under them and help them develop their game Exist.exe.

Exist exe is a top down 2D Puzzle game inspired by the old game Golden Sun it`s done in Unity coded in C# and should still be in development.

During the course of my internship I assisted my lead in coding and implementing gameplay features as well as assisting him in bug hunting,participating in the design process and giving my opinions on certain matters as well as playtesting levels to check for bugs and overall quality of the levels.

I was mainly creating and integrating a Wind feature that can be seen in the gif below that only shows the most basic feature of pushing the player. The main difficulty in creating it was that it was required to mix and mingle with mechanics that were either not created yet or in the middle of creation as I was working on it so it was difficult to solidly pin down on how to do a certain action although eventually I did complete it and left in the hands of my lead before officially finishing my internship.
